Calvanese’s Sugo

Introducing our famous traditional Sicilian Red Sauce known as “SUGO”.
This recipe was crafted by our Nonna Assunta (Susie) in Aragona Sicily in 1949. Our SUGO has a light consistency blended with all natural ingredients and just the right amount of herbs and spices, making each bite unforgettable.

The Calvanese Family has been making this exact sauce for friends and family for more than 70 years now. We then brought the recipe to the United States, this became the foundation to our family restaurant called Deli Italia, which has been successfully operating since 1996.
